The Romanesque complex of the valley includes the churches of Sant Climent and Santa Maria de Taüll, Sant Joan de Boí, Santa Eulàlia of Erill la Vall, Sant Feliu of Barruera, the Nativity of Durro, Santa Maria of Cardet, and the Assumption of Cóll.
Its uniqueness led UNESCO to declare it a World Heritage Site in the year 2000.
